A garage cleanout is a sorting job before it is a hauling job. Most Amarillo garages hold three categories at once: things worth keeping that got buried, things worth donating, and twenty years of things nobody will ever use again. Our crew works with you along that line, moves the keepers to one wall, and takes the rest out in a single visit so you can park a vehicle in there the same evening.

What comes out of a typical garage
- Old furniture and mattresses stored on their side
- Broken lawn mowers, trimmers and yard equipment
- Paint cans, though wet paint has to be handled separately
- Bicycles, exercise equipment and sports gear
- Cardboard, packing material and empty totes
- Scrap lumber, offcuts and leftover building materials
How the visit runs
- We walk the space with you and agree a price before anything moves
- Keepers get staged along one wall so nothing goes by mistake
- Donatable items are boxed separately and dropped off, not landfilled
- The floor is swept before we leave
What this costs in Amarillo
Single items normally fall into the minimum load or 1/8 truck bracket. Larger jobs price by the fraction of the truck they fill. Every bracket is published on the pricing page, and the quote you get on the driveway is the number you pay.
Questions people actually ask
How long does a garage cleanout take?
A standard two car garage runs two to four hours with a two man crew. Heavily packed garages with a full attic above can run most of a day, and we will tell you which one yours is before we start.
Can you take the paint and chemicals on the shelf?
Not in liquid form. Dry the paint out with kitty litter or a hardener and it becomes ordinary trash we can take. Solvents, fuel and pesticides need the household hazardous waste route, which we explain on our disposal guide.
Do you sort through boxes, or do I need to do that first?
That is your call. Most people do a quick pass first, then leave the sorting of the obvious junk to us. We never open sealed boxes without asking.
What if I find something I want to keep halfway through?
Pull it out and put it on the keep wall. It happens on almost every job and it does not change the price.
